Thomas Kwok. I cannot switch Microsoft Outlook online and cannot perform deleting email. It worked for me,thanks : because I was working on a client PC remotely, The window size wasn't maximized and the "working Offline" button was hidden in preferences section.

Thanks man In reply to hazimhamid's post on May 20, I may have the same problem. But when I click on the Folders tab at the top, I cannot find the sync issues folder. I have also looked at my personal folders and do not have one by that name either. I seem to be frozen in working offline. In reply to TedKunzog's post on July 14, Hi Ted, Have you tried checking in the new Outlook profile? Don't click on the folders tab on the top. If you're using outlook , at the bottom left you will find icons for Mail, Tasks, Calendar, etc.
Click on that and select folders then you will be able to see the sync folder. In reply to hazimhamid's post on July 16, Thank you, hazim! Try exactly your method but the folders icon are not highlighted and activated! Therefore could not see any sync folder - too bad still hanging in the air.

Just yesterday July 22 I made a new Hotmail account for the window 10 setup. I put in all the needed info name phone number in the US and log in without any problem.
Got to the inbox fine. Send an email to test to my gmail account that I entered at setup and got a pop up box saying I had to verify my account by entering my mobile number.
I do not have a mobile number, as I will be out of the country for 3 months. I use Google voice to make calls on my laptop. Was this comment helpful?
